After four years of welcoming guests to Yayaki, and nearly five years of living on Spetses island, we created NISSIMOU<\/strong> \u2014 \u201cmy island\u201d<\/em> in Greek \u2014 a non-profit organisation born from love, lived experience, and a deep sense of responsibility to our community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NISSIMOU is inspired by our daughter, Athina, and by the communication challenges that reshaped how we understand inclusion, care, and belonging. It began with a simple wish: that children could access essential support without leaving the island they love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, that wish is becoming reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through NISSIMOU, we are supporting children with special needs in Greece<\/strong> by offering access to therapies, guidance, and long-term support \u2014 starting right here in Spetses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
