Greece and Spetses, have always had a special place in our hearts. After living
fast-paced lives in London and Paris, we chose to reconnect with the magical Mediterranean region, inherited from our families\u2019 origins.
This is our story, growing up far, far away from big cities, closer to nature, bathing into the beauties of the Myrtoan Sea and waking-up every day with the crickets\u2019 music.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Becoming a Family <\/h5>
Our daughter Athina was born in London, and only a few months later, we packed the car and moved our new family of three to Paris. This year, our family grew bigger. We gave birth to two children: our dear son Leo born in Athens, and our hotel!<\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Start of A Dream<\/h5>

Launch of NISSIMOU, Non Profit<\/h5>
In October, we launched NISSIMOU. Inspired by\nour daughter Athina's neurodivdersity, NISSIMOU\u2019s mission is to make Spetses' children's and their families' lives easier! How? By creating the first inclusive therapy centre on the island, as well as giving access to both occupational and speech therapy for children (2-12 years old). Hannah pursued a career in digital marketing straight after graduation. This led her to work for some reputed companies such as Proximity BBDO<\/em>, Apple EMEA HQ<\/em>, Caprice Holdings<\/em>. She later completed a Master\u2019s degree from LCC<\/em> in Public Relations and opened her own consultancy in 2015, HB DIGITAL<\/em>. She continues her social media work for her family\u2019s belgian chocolate brand, Caf\u00e9-Tasse<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>

Karl, with his friendly personality, has always been more interested in hotel operations and guest relations. He enjoys working with people and meeting clients from all over the world and has been working in the industry for more than 10 years. His experience includes top five-star properties such as the Fairmont<\/em> in Montreux<\/em>, the Landmark<\/em> and Grosvenor Casinos<\/em> in London, Intercontinental Hotels<\/em> in Geneva<\/em> and Paris<\/em>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

We believe hospitality is about more than great service. At Yayaki Spetses, each traveler is looked after as a family member, whom we are happy to see after long periods of separation.
This is an original approach, halfway between a luxury boutique hotel and a family guest house.<\/p>\n

Yayaki is an homage to our Greek, German, Lebanese and French grandmothers.<\/p>

It is their deeply kind souls, lifestyles and wisdom that surrounded and nourished us.<\/p>

What if Yayaki was also a little unconventional, gifted with humor and full of ideas?<\/span><\/p>

Yaya means \u201cgrandmother\u201d in Greek.
<\/span>The \u201cki\u201d is the sweet touch imagined by Hannah and Karl.<\/span><\/p>

It is the little nickname Hannah used for the first time as a kid, to call her own grandmother.<\/p>
